I'm currently at work. Just finished a task and now I'm bored. ;P

Sorry my last blog was pretty vague - There were a lot of things I wanted to update but really, there wasn't much excitement going on in my life. Winter break has been good - I finally had time to catch up on a lot of things - like finally bought a car, helped my mom with her document to visit US, helped with housework around the house etc. And after all that, now I'm back to work. This winter hasn't been the greatest or the most adventurous one, but I did accomplish a lot.

When I was younger, holidays were a lot more fun. I had a ton of time to read/ watch movie/ play video games/ lay around and do absolutely nothing(best part). But now holidays are all about doing things you never had time for until holiday hit. Things like actually clean the room, sell books online, go to the bank, go to the post office, do laundry, write emails, call people, pay bills.... lol Being an adult is just so tiring. It just seems like you never get to relax. I just wish I knew how much time I had when I was younger so maybe I could use them better. (or waste those time in a better way)

I went to a New Year's Eve party to count down. And I was like the only one that over dressed for it lol. It was fun I guess. We played bunch of video games - I really suck at any video game. lol We also did secret Santa gift exchange. (It's basically exchanging gifts except you don't know who you are receiving gifts from.) I got a coffee mug that shaped as a lens, which was cool. But sadly my person didn't come to the party - I will just have to give the gift to her when we come back to school. We got home around 2:30 in the morning - I was crashed.

Oh and the fun part of that night was - We were watching TV during the count down, there were 2 mins left and all of a sudden, we lost signal on TV for a good minute. LOL everyone was like WTH are you kidding me ?! It finally came back right before the one minute line, but imagine how funny it could be if we missed it.

(wow, I really can't make a blog post interesting. )

So, I've been filming here and there for my winter holiday vlog so hopefully I might have something up by the end of January.

Last thing before I go:

I watched two movies recently - The Blue Lagoon(1980) and Love Potion NO.9(1992)

The Blue Lagoon is just such a beautiful movie, not just the scene but also the young love. I don't want to spoil you with the basic plot but it is kind of like the story of Adam and Eve. It's definitely a must watch.

Love Potion No. 9 is also an old movie. It's not so bad - and I'd like to say it's nicely done as a comedy. The story line was alright, stupid and funny. The actors were good too. Sandra Bullock was pretty young back then and the actor Tate Donovan looked so familiar! As I was writing this now, I finally remembered that he was Rachel Green's crush in Friends! (maybe in season 4? Did they ever date?)

So yea. I'm happy I got to watch some old films. :D
